Barebow BBQ Sauce

1 cup tomato sauce

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup vinegar

2 tbsp Barebow BBQ Mix

Mix thoroughly and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.

Get creative by adding mustard, beer, or horseradish!


Simple Roasted Backstrap

1/2 cup olive oil

2 tbsp Venison Rub #4 (or enough to cover)

1 cup beef broth, orange juice or beer

Cover meat with olive oil to coat. Then cover meat with Venison Rub #4. Put on a roasting rack or baking pan with 1 cup of your choice - broth, orange juice or beer. Take it up a notch with diced potatoes and root vegetables.

Cook 30 minutes at 350, flip it over and cook another 15-20 minutes at 400.

Take out, slice and enjoy!
